Have you always wanted to learn how to drum and play along with your favorite music? Whether you’re young or old, a beginner or an advanced drummer, you’re invited to join me for drum lessons in Utrecht!
In my lessons, you’ll start with the fundamentals: rhythms, stick technique, and reading drum notation. We’ll begin with pop and rock rhythms and then explore a range of styles, including funk, jazz, latin and more.
We’ll focus on improving your technique, enhancing your coordination, and applying your skills by playing along with songs. Drumming is a fantastic way to express yourself musically, so grab those sticks and discover the drummer within you!
About Jesper
My name is Jesper van der Meer.
I’m a drummer and perform in various projects and bands, from pop and jazz to theater- and musical productions. I studied drums (jazz/pop) at the Utrecht Conservatory, specializing in pop-music. During my studies, I also focused on music production.
As a drummer, I play in several projects, including Elaine and LUCIA. Beyond these regular projects, I frequently work as a substitute or session drummer for bands, artists and in theater- and musical productions.

VAT-rules
Students under 21 years of age are exempt from VAT.
Students aged 21 and older are subject to an additional VAT rate of 21% on top of these rates.
